Endovenous Laser Therapy a Non Surgical Varicose Vein Treatment
Download Brochure
| Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT) is a new procedure offered at the new Tower Interventional Oncology & Vascular Center. Endovenous Laser Therapy treats varicose veins with NO surgery, LIMITED downtime and NO hospital stay. During the treatment, a laser fiber is inserted into the vein through a tiny puncture site. The laser energizes the fiber as it is withdrawn from the vein. Energy emitted from the tip of the fiber causes only the treated vein to close, while the body automatically routes the blood to other healthy veins. It's all done as an outpatient procedure in less than two hours with new laser technology much like the kind that's proven so successful in eye surgery, dermatology and other areas of medicine. |
